Wednesdays (Washington, DC)

"You bloom, we bloom". --John Chambers

Thirteen years ago, a small group of individuals in California decided to devote a Wednesday evening to the spirit of sharing through meditation and reflection. Over time, the vibrations created during that single evening multiplied and rippled into a weekly gathering as more individuals joined the circle of sharing and created what has become known as "Wednesdays."

During the past thirteen years, Wednesday evenings in Silicon Valley have planted seeds of inner transformation not only through the meditation, but also through the special guest speakers that are invited to join once in a while. Individuals have left their .Wednesday. feeling not only inspired and renewed, but also more proactive about bringing change into their lives as well as their communities.

Now, "Wednesdays" has begun to bloom in the nation's capitol, in the heart of Columbia Heights (Washington, DC) at BloomBars. The format goes like this ...

7:00PM An hour of collective silence; its unguided, without any instructions or music. For first-timers, this primer on meditation may be helpful.
8:00PM A short reading of the weekly iJourney reading, followed by a circle of sharing of "aha" moments from everyday life.

To join, simply register in the right column and you'll be emailed the details. There is no charge and no one is expected to bring anything. People organically "pay-it-forward" to the world in their own ways.
